It’s been a long time coming; Jake and I met in Chicago when I was studying there and we talked for years about making a mix together, and we made our first one back when I was in Paris in 2022 but never completed it — so this one feels extra special.
Opening with a 30-minute set, Jake Slipkovich — aka DJ Twinkle — is a Tennessee-born, London-based multi-disciplinary artist, composer, and DJ whose work explores the ineffable. Through sound (and now scent through perfumery), Jake builds unseen but deeply felt worlds, tinting environments and reshaping how we listen. Currently studying sound as fine art at Central Saint Martins, they weave together music, dance, performance, and film into a singular practice.
