A little late for the Star Trek Day, but I thought I’d share a look at the many covers I’ve gotten to draw across multiple comic titles at IDW.
It’s been a blast to get to work on these covers and explore almost every corner of Trek. My favourite being the cover where I got to draw not just mine but the dogs of the editors, writer and friends.

Happy book release day to the Art of the High Republic vol 2 by @kristinbaver with an incredible cover by @grantgriffinart
I got the Art of the Phantom Menace as a kid shortly after seeing the film and I was enraptured. I endlessly obsessed over the art of Doug Chiang and Iain McCaig and others. I treasured the book as I grew up. When I started pursuing art professionally it became a distant dream to one day contribute any small thing I could to the Star Wars Galaxy and an even more impossible dream to be in an Art book.
I am beyond honoured to see my name and my work in the Art of the High Republic amongst some insanely talented names. It feels cliche to call it a dream come true but here we are. Over the last five years I’ve gotten to illustrate numerous covers for novels, comics and audible titles, in house illustrations, concept designs and design TWO original Jedi complete with lightsabers!
I’m still waiting on my copy to arrive later today but here’s a sample of some of my High Republic art as well as my first fan art of the characters from way back in 2020. It’s been a wild ride and there’s more to come 👀

Mandalorian and Grogu!
Cant wait to see the movie next week. Currently rewatching the show in preparation. I’ve forgotten how fun it is to draw these two.
I’m itching to work on a bigger complex piece but I’m going to hold off until I see the whole film.

Satine and Obi-Wan: on the run!
I have a lot of things on my Star Wars bucket list, but very near the top would be drawing a comic about the year Obi-Wan and Satine Kryze spent on the run. (I’d also be very happy if it was an animated series)
Here’s a peace of them dodging Mandalorian Patrols. Might need to do of them in the future.
This might still be my favourite medieval Star Wars piece that I’ve done. Padme and Anakin always had a Guinevere and Lancelot vibe to them that was one of the first inspirations for creating the series.

Loved the finale of Maul Shadow Lord. Lots of fun and the animation was top tier. Here’s a piece inspired by a scene earlier in the season plus some older Maul pieces for the Revenge of the Fifth.

I wanted to do a Rogue One piece this year to celebrate its 10th anniversary in December! Always a joy to draw these characters. And now I’m going to spend my day drawing more Star Wars.

Inspired by ‘Triple self portrait’ by Norman Rockwell, I wanted to do a piece that played with the different aspects of Maelle and also held several Easter eggs of the characters and relationships she had.

first time drawing a mech in maybe fifteen years.
Having only ever seen Gundam Wing as a kid, I finally started Witch from Mercury and Iron Blooded Orphans. Had a lot of fun drawing Gundam Aerial and trying to achieve a sense of scale.
We are OVER THE MOON with our new Level 16 Character Art from @jakebartok ! Our babies have undergone a LOT of change since we started - felt fitting to get some new art as the end of this campaign is on the horizon (say it ain't so!!)
