I know, I know. I post on my stories about this gig a lot. It means a lot to me though. I felt like I was faking my way through Cuban and Brazilian B sections in jazz standards for such a long time, but @rvspiano got me on Salsa and Latin Jazz gigs often enough that I really had to shed this stuff. I'm still grateful for that. Still lots to learn and I don't necessarily always know if I'm playing authentically, but the shed never ends.
All that to say, come to Simple Bar tonight. 9:00-12:00
