Albany, NY The CyberPunk City 🌃
9 years ago, on October 1st, 2016, I took this same picture of the Albany skyline — the last slide. I was a beginner Photographer then, shooting with a Fujifilm FinePix S8600 and just learning the basics.
Now, years later, with more experience, more knowledge, and a way better camera, I went back to the same spot to recreate the shot — and I can say the hard work truly paid off.
Years of practice, late nights, failed shots, and small wins led me back here with a sharper eye and a clearer vision. It’s crazy how far you can come without noticing until you look back.
This is what dedication looks like.
Never give up
My Favorite Thing About Abandoned places is when the building or Structure is completely over taken by Nature but is still visible to the eye! I think it’s the closest thing someone can get to a post-apocalyptic environment experience — where nature and silence tell the story of what was left behind 🌿🌎
Abandoned Frontier Town Church 🌿
This place is like a cinematic dream come true, a real-life wonder that inspires the imagination.
-Last Time i Visited this place was 8 Years Ago when i was first Starting Out in Photography and i took photos of this church on a FujiFilm Finepix s8600. Many Years later and alot more experience and knowledge about Photography i went back to get some better Photos of this beautiful abandoned chuch sitting in the woods!
Visit the graveyards sometimes and read the headstone epitaphs! There is much to learn from the dark face of the life🖤🪦 The door’s been locked for over a century… but sometimes, it still creaks open 🗝️
