Figured it was about time to lock it down.
I’ve never felt more complete than when Juliette is standing next to me. Her smile and laughter give everyone around her permission to express their own joy authentically and without reservation. I’ve never felt judged. I have only ever felt the permission to be my complete and unedited self. It’s a gift she has given me that I’ll truly never be able to repay her for.
I made a joke within our first week of dating that I would propose by getting out of a hot air balloon on a horse. And if you know me, you know that I commit to bits. I stayed relentlessly committed to this bit for five years. Juliette even went as far as to say, “if there’s no hot air, balloon or horse, I will not say yes.” So I had my work cut out for me.
So with the help of a fake press request email, a homemade hot air balloon, a toy horse, lots of help from Ben and Tucker, and the overwhelming support of new friends and company members at The Great Gatsby… she said yes 💍
They wouldn’t let me drive the car so we had to settle for some pictures. Turned out ok I guess. 🤷🏻♂️
