"Fujiko F. Fujio"
(30 x 50 cm)
This work explores icons as living sources of inspiration, reimagining the ICONOSTASIS wall through a contemporary lens. I chose Fujiko F. Fujio (Fujimoto Hiroshi), creator of Doraemon, as my icon. His stories were my first teachers, opening pathways to imagination, nature, history, and invented worlds. Through his gentle futures and playful gadgets, I learned to dream beyond reality. His influence continues to guide me today as I pursue a path as a concept artist. This painting becomes a parodied iconostasis, an altar of gratitude, honoring the artist who shaped my vision and who I am becoming.
While creating this piece, I felt as if I was painting with fate itself, like artists in the past who made works for gods

Deeply grateful to the museum and to my family for their support
