Performance Installation
Ngee Ann Kongsi Galleries
In the quiet act of fixing, absence takes form. Rooted in the buddhist philosophy of śūnyatā, each gesture reveals presence in emptiness, where repair becomes reflection and impermanent fragments trace becoming. Audiences are invited to participate, gently addressing social alienation through shared focus and quiet connection.
3456 was awarded the Lim Ai Fang Art Prize in May 2025.

Haven't posted dance content on my feed for quite sometime. I've struggled and it was definitely not a perfect run, but I'd still like to hold space for this moment. My heart has not felt this way while dancing for a long time 🤍 Energized 🪄
Thank you @caetlynwatson@form.theprogram ✨️❤️🌼
More Than Just Wind, 2025
Acrylic on Paper
Menjadi: Downsizing, Lim Hak Tai Gallery
More Than Just Wind responds to a performance exploring the practice of stacking stones, where the performer intentionally intercepts their sense of sight and sound. Ng’s work is informed by her living environment in Singapore, where physical and online spaces are saturated with advertising and digital immediacy. In such environments, space for self-reflection becomes increasingly limited and bodily awareness can become dull. By performing through intentional isolation, the work draws attention to the subtle, latent dialogue between thought and action.
The prints that follow emerge from the stones used in the performance. Each print becomes a residual mark of awareness, capturing traces of texture, touch, and presence between performer and object. These impressions are not just record of form, but echos of moments suspended in time, inviting reflection on the space between action and stillness, effort and surrender.
More Than Just Wind was also exhibited with ISA Art Gallery in Yogyakarta, Indonesia as a part of The Paper Menagerie exhibition in 2025.

Came in with nothing but an empty hole in my heart and the urge to create. Never regretted coming on this journey and I've learnt a lot during these 3 years. Many things have changed since then. During this season I got married, moved out, studied and worked abroad, then came back to write a whole thesis. Did all of this while working... it was super tough but I'm glad that I found a good support system along the way.
Naturally with such a stressful phase, I battled self-doubt countlessly, in both my academic studies and even in my career. Both practices demanded so much creativity and time that I started to run dry. I constantly thought about whether I was giving enough towards my studies & also my students. I left some things behind, put a few on pause, and eventually had to learn to prioritise my love for different aspects of my life. This was not the easiest but it was a necessary lesson I had to learn to grow.
Despite all the hurdles, what I did not expect was to be awarded multiple academic awards and to receive an art prize during my time here. My coursemates and batchmates are extremely talented people. It is almost too crazy to receive these things because I know everyone of us are talented people. But nonetheless I am incredibly thankful, and also very happy that the Embassy Of Peru Award was given to the Fine Art side this year. (BAFA pride 😊)
This prestigious award allowed me to nominate a teacher from my former institution to recieve a grant that may be given to a student from that institute to support their pursuits with NAFA. To put this into context, I was once a kid that struggled heavily with financial matters and thought that I could not afford university. To potentially support a junior to pursue the arts is a very whole rounded moment for me. The day I decided to read the email properly and process what had happened, I cried a river 🥲😂.
To sum up, I am incredibly thankful to @nafa_sg for all the support with my time here and I am grateful to have met many amazing lecturers and friends that I look up to very much. Shoutout to my husband for the patience and love too. It truly took a whole kampong's support to achieve what I did today!
Today we went DOWN LIKE THAT 🪄🔮
I want to highlight 2 things tonight:
1) I don't really pick students often to do showcases because it's a level 1 class. But I would like to highlight this bunch of consistent and hardworking dancers. New or old students, I've seen a consistent growth over the months - years (how have I seen some of you guys for YEARS?! Damn!) and I am very proud of how far many of you have come! Please continue to push on and always dance happy 💛!
2) This beautiful padded tank top from @lookwhowearwhat . Red is my favourite colour and I am absolutely in love with this fit and material. Moved in it without a worry, it felt so effortless 🌹. I have the shorts as well and I can't wait to use it for the gym later this week. Will post a story of it then 🤭.
FYI - I am wearing the ShapeLustre Tank in Merlot Glow, size M!
Here's to making more magic with @converge.studios 🪄!
