The Panics Unplugged at Ellingtons in Perth was a special one. A stripped back version of the band played 18 songs from across the catalogue, a few for the first time, seeing how the songs felt again, and they felt better than ever.
We’ll have to do it again.
Sun Nov 9- I’m playing in the Perth Hills at the former home and studio of iconic West Australian painter, the late Robert Juniper @junipergallerieswa ... I’d always heard about the studio in the hills with the great painter at work there in my youth and it was an inspiring image. It’s also my first hills gig since high school. I’ll be playing with @lucky_oceans (another legend) on pedal steel guitar -we’ll attempt some dreamy landscapes of our own. Only 50 seats in the studio, tickets by reserving/enquiring through the gallery - I’ve put the contact in my insta bio
