Introducing my first ever short film featuring my father ❤️
Ever since I was a kid, the internet has been filled with propaganda against our people.
For some reason, it’s always been socially acceptable—even normalized—to talk down to Indians.
We’re celebrated when we become doctors or engineers, but the moment we step into a creative field, we’re told we don’t belong.
I used to wish people saw the beauty in who we are instead of reducing us to tired stereotypes.
But as I got older, I realized—it was never about them.
My family sacrificed everything so we could have a chance. Letting someone’s opinion diminish that is madness.
Grateful to have my dad in this short film. I hope someone out there sees a piece of themselves in it.

We think the superficial will give us meaning to live, whereas the meaning is already here.
