Last night, I was waiting for my handsome husband to get home from Washington, DC ā„ļøābut he was running terribly late. I was starting to get worried, even though he had told me he would be delayed; I just couldn't imagine why. Well, he finally arrived and said, "Come help me unload the car." I went out and saw a little creature sitting there, looking right at me. When I opened the door... oh my God, look who it was! I cried tears of pure joy... introducing the newest member of the family: Xicó Mendes Braz da Silva.
AddVerse had an incredible time at Yuma: Dancing Down the Magdalena River on March 28, 2026, at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center in Pittsburgh. What a vibrant, powerful celebration of Colombian cultureāfull of movement, music, and joy.
Directed by Melissa Teodoro, the performance brought together artistry and community in such a meaningful way.
Weāre especially proud to cheer on our friend and member Jadson Mendes @jadsonmds for his beautiful participation in the show. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do: to uplift art, community, and each other. We also congratulated Professor @jorge.enrique.delgado for his participation and role in the show.
Bravo to everyone involvedāwhat a night.
