I want to thank every single person that has helped us so far.
Mama Jay’s Kitchen is an initiative that stemmed from a need for community care via food. Following the war, the kitchen is now operating as a makeshift kitchen that delivers food to individuals and affected by the war.
To the beautiful hearts and souls that have been helping us: Thank you. And to those who want to help, you are welcome to join if you have some spare time. And if you don’t have the time, please help us by sharing the post.
We hope this war ends and for Mama Jay’s Kitchen to return to its initial purpose. But for now, we roll up our sleeves and do the best we can.

Tonight live on @vrtcanvas at 20:35.
🎬I thought I would have many words to write this day, the day our film about Jado is going on air. But I cannot really express my feelings right now.
I just feel gratitude,
For the framily I met in Beirut (you know who you are).
For the privileges I am born with, which I’m trying to use to amplify unheard voices.
And respect,
For the team that has made this story happen.
Under challenging circumstances, sometimes literally afraid of bombs to fall.
I am sharing here the beautiful moments, because there were many.
And fighting for your rights as a queer person in Lebanon is not only harsh, it is also full of warmth and beauty, of connection and community.
I am a proud ally, and love my queer people - from Beirut to Brussels and Antwerp.
Love is love. Everywhere. For everyone. No matter which God you believe in, or none.
