French artist @jadikan has produced a breathtaking new series of photographs called ”Phénomènes“ / Aerial Firework Dreams. This series consists of stunning long exposure photos created in the French Alps using drones equipped with flammable powder to create firework bursts in the night sky. Jadikan has been passionate about photography and light painting since 2005, when he accidentally created his first images with light trails using an incandescent cigarette butt. In this new series, he powerfully combines technology and light painting techniques to produce incredible images that capture the imagination. In preparation for the shoot, he sets everything up during the day, from finding the perfect location to equipping the drones with flammable materials. “A meticulous preparation to allow the fireworks bursts to fall to the ground like a rain of light, coming to re-enchant the setting and give it a dimension both poetic and spiritual.” ”Phénomènes“ is a remarkable demonstration of Jadikan’s artistry and his ability to transform familiar landscapes into captivating, enigmatic places.
