After so long breaking myself down, trying to fit in, doubting my worth, I finally learned to look at myself with tenderness.
The battle was never against the world, it was always with me.
This time, I chose myself. This time, I won.🎓
From a girl from Iloilo once dreaming to be a Lasallian, to finally standing here as one it still feels surreal. Moving away from home and living alone was never easy, but every tear, sacrifice, and long night was worth it. Today, I proudly say that I am graduating from my dream university, and I still can’t believe that I made it this far.🏹
This journey wasn’t smooth. After my college results came out, my mom was confined in the hospital because of COVID-19. Just two weeks after she was discharged, our home caught fire. It was one of the hardest moments for my family . But through faith, prayer, and the strength we found in each other.
To my tatay and nanay , thank you for your endless trust, love, and sacrifices. You believed in me even during the toughest times, and that gave me the strength to keep going. This milestone is not just mine it’s ours. 🥹❤️
To ahia sioti and julian , you carried the role of support without even trying, and I hope this achievement makes you as proud as you’ve always made me.🤗
To Mafiamily , thank you for shaping me outside the classroom. And for giving me a place to lead, grow, and belong , you made college feel like purpose, not just a degree.💛🖤
To my friends, thank you for standing by me through every high and low. And to my badminton family, thank you for reminding me of discipline, teamwork, and heart both on and off the court. 💚
Here’s to new beginnings, greater dreams, and the unwavering faith that brought me here.✨💖
And above all , thank you dear God almighty.🙏
