Finally had a chance to take out @_chasen.g_ 992 GT3RS around @weathertechraceway after all the upgrades @spmotorsports has made over the last couple years and took a second off since our last run. Conditions were pretty good with a bit of mist in the air. The car is still fully stock power with the full stock exhaust, so with a bit of tuning I’m sure a 1:26 is possible in the future. The new @hoosiertire R8s work wonders for feeling and confidence over the previous R7s everyone has been using.

Another very productive weekend for the whole @spmotorsports team at Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca. 2 punctures also gave the guys a bit of unfortunate pit stop practice and hindered the final results on paper.
I’m proud of all the drivers and crew for growing so much in the short time since Sebring. The speed of the drivers and car are definitely improving as we all continue to grow our working relationship. Short break till Watkins Glen at the end of June but the work behind the scenes will continue like normal. 👊

Our Sebring race took an unexpected turn after contact from a GS car took us out of the race. Not the result we worked for, and not one we caused, but we don’t dwell on setbacks. We reset, we refocus, and we continue push forward- cause baby we were born to run! 😎
Finally had the chance to take out @spmotorsports “Snoopy” endurance 2006 Cayman build this past weekend. Fully in house race car build with the original engine being upped to 4.1 liters. When most cars are turn key nowadays it’s always refreshing being able to develop something and tailor it to exactly what you need.
Did a very respectable 1:34.5 around Laguna Seca which is not too shabby for a 2006 Cayman 🤙
First weekend of Super Trofeo done and dusted with the completely new program for @spmotorsports and my teammate @juaceny competing in his first weekend of racing. We executed and performed exactly like we wanted from testing with minimal mistakes and overall delivered a solid clean weekend. Still don’t necessarily agree with the little orange sticker that they’re making us run in the window, but nonetheless I’m proud of the whole team and our sister car of @hlokk_dm & @paul_whiting_racing
