Me? I’m a writer like you wouldn’t believe. My words write words better than the greats. When commas see me they don’t pause, they keep moving. Letters? I know all of ‘em. Grammar ain’t got shi*t on me. My writing lands regardless of literacy. If you’ve got the moxie, the chutzpah, the gumption or grit, read my stories and despair.

I wrote my first story for Texas Monthly. What I Learned as a Young Black Political Speaker in Liberal White Austin. I will no longer use my energy to champion liberal politicians who can’t imagine a world where I am alive. I appreciate the outlet to express my anger. 7 years with my beautiful lady love. Two jades who accidentally matched on the first date. You’re my world and my everything. And it has been my greatest joy to build a life with you both at a distance and now under the same roof. I love you lady jade, now and always. Also we’re going to ride some rollercoasters at Hershey park this weekend and that’s pretty rad.

Amplify Austin Day is the biggest giving event in Central Texas. For 24 hours, residents across our seven-county region are invited to participate by giving back to the local nonprofits that do so much good for our community!
Hello friends, that’s the first month down for my webcomic! It makes me so happy to make people laugh and/or respectably chuckle.
The comic is such nice culmination of disparate skills in my life, brevity from journalism, humor from improv, and skills from digital art, which I’ve developed in the background to create images for my newsletter. It all just came together. And who would have guessed that the name Geesegooseman was available on all platforms? It has been so, so fun, and I really appreciate everyone who has shared a kind word with me. It really means the world to hear that I’ve provided at-least a second of joy to ya. Many more comics to come. And in time, art prints and decor? Oh ho ho. It’s Geesegooseman time baby, so here’s to making more funny things and drawing more art!

Remember that time I did a photo shoot with a chicken? Well, tomorrow I premiere the webcomic I’ve been working on @geesegooseman . It’s going to be a lot like that, but instead of doing a photoshoot with a chicken I’ll be drawing and writing little jokes. It’s been so so fun and I’m excited for yall to see them!!
