Maneeee this week I swear I barely wanted to workout but I know itâs essential in my life for many reasons.
In the past I would always hit a wall and have an excuse not to gym if I feel the feels or feel down. I know Iâm slowly growing because thatâs not even an option when I feel a type a way.
Keep going even when itâs tough because youâll always feel better and like youâve accomplished something, even if itâs something small.
It doesnât have to be the gym in terms of lifting. I mean it can be a simple 20 minute walk, a Pilates class, jump rope, a workout at home. ANYTHING. Just move đ¤ keep going yall!

3 reasons to keep going:
1. Working out improves your health and makes you live longer. It helps your heart too and you need that to live.
2. Working out makes you FEEL GOOD. (dopamine)
It produces a confidence you canât find anywhere else. Not in the club, not by shopping, surgery, or not by sitting on your booty making it flatter.
3. It helps you mentally. Studies have shown. I am a result of a study. It helps trust me. Iâve had a lifelong battle with mental health and working out will always help heal me. Along with God, therapy, social interactions, alone space, family etcccc. Adding on a significant habit like working out will have a trickle effect on your other habits.
If you look at me right now you might think wow sheâs blessed and highly favored. Well, yes you are right because Iâm a child of God. But these results are through trial and error. Hard mf work. Pain. CONSISTENCY. Life circumstances. My body has gotten to where it is now because I put myself first.
Donât ever compare yourself to someone you see presently because what you see could be years of change and consistency. Maybe they have had an injury. Years of pain. Family issues. Years of trial and error.
Itâs not easy to get up and take care of yourself but itâs a choice you have to decide if you want to live a healthier life. Just keep going and live the life YOU know you want.
I promise you itâs better when youâre working out.
( the scale matters but it also doesnât to me , I didnât share my breakdown of body fat/ muscles mass or anything but I am 5â10. Weight looks different on all bodyâs! )
