Yalll !! I did a THING !! A VERY EXCITING THING ✨ I performed at one of the Best Poetry Sessions period @wanpoetry 📝
I wrote this Rap a couple years ago and always say it to myself. I rapped it to my sis @nailsbyindia__ not to long ago saying I would love a beat for it and she said it sound like a poem and a cappella was cool.
Which gave me the idea to perform it at a poetry open 🎤mic. I’m always seeing footage of Queen @richellegemini spitting fire 🔥 at @wanpoetry so I decided to gone head, pull up and STOP SITTING ON MY WORDS AND CREATIVITY.
When I say the feeling I felt while waiting to go up and while I was up there was CALM & EXHILARATING at the same time. It felt sooo damn good to let that out! 👏🏾👏🏾🥰

When I saw her beautiful LONG THICK HAIR, nothing about it intimidated me & I assured her she was going to be IN & OUT. ✅ Hair was going to silky silky & done with ease.
As it was. 🙌🏾
It was also time for a trim 💇🏾♀️ I cut an amount that she was comfortable with and that also got off majority of the splits end while still keeping a length she’s comfortable with.
I am not a stylist That will demand a client to cut off absolutely “ALL” her split ends at once.
As stylist who’s been doing hair for 18 years, I don’t believe that’s necessary at all if a person doesn’t want that. It’s ways to help the hair remain healthy and grow properly.
