Thank you to every single person who attended the Friday evening promenade in Bath. I was flying solo this year without my co-host @petasews , but everyone made my job (herding cats) easy. An excellent evening that ended up in the pub, then another pub with a live folk jam and pork scratchings. Classy!

Just look at that light. We were so lucky with the weather for the Friday evening promenade in Bath last weekend.
Thanks to @timelight_photographic for this great shot of the back of some of our natural form gowns.

Look at that handsome beast! My dad is usually up to his eyeballs in engine oil and grease, but he certainly scrubs up well. You can really see the details of his wool tailcoat here.

The portraits are out! I forgot to put on my gloves as we shot straight in for photos upon arrival. Blue taffeta natural form ballgown, with original lace trim and tulle features. I love this gown so much.and it was a dream to wear.
Thank you so much again Lucas @timelight_photographic , you are a wizard.

Let's hear it for Popsie!
Once again my lovely little dad accompanied us to the ball. He put up with two of us faffing all weekend, and was a star. He looked very handsome in his wool tailcoat and silk waistcoat, and of course his magnificent moustache.

I performed my annual street sweeping service again. Luckily my black balayeuse (the ruffled panel sticking out the back of the train) took the brunt of the filth. It just unbuttons and then gets thrown in the wash/ on the fire. 😆

The plaid day gown that I wore to the Friday evening promenade was a lot of fun. This is my first time in natural form, and it is nice not to take up loads of space for a change. We were once again very fortunate with the weather, and the golden light and hot-air balloons were out in force.

The Natural Form Ballgown. Made from a beautiful matte blue taffeta, with original lace trim and elements of silk tulle. It was a dream to wear, and swishing around in the train was a delight. The colour got a lot of compliments, as it should. I nearly squealed when I spotted it Brighton.

This is serious business. It takes a LOT of blood, sweat and tears to look this good. Thanks to @sewenth_heaven for this brilliant shot of us looking very pensive in our natural form day attire. Just look at that embroidery. 'Tis the stuff of dreams. #NaturalForm #VictorianAttire #HistoricalCostuming #PAVictorianBall26 #HistoricalCostumer
Like moths to a flame. @gabby_mcc holds court in the gin house. I love this Tissot-esque image from last night. #NaturalForm #Tissot #VictorianAttire #HistoricalCostuming
The bums of Bath: Friday evening promenade edition. Thank you so much to everyone who came out to join the peramble, and greater thanks to the weather for once again being perfect. There is nothing like golden hour in Bath. See you all at the ball this evening! 😀 #Bath #PAVictorianBall26 #NaturalForm #VictorianAttire #HistoricalCostuming
I'm done. A natural form day dress, ball gown and early 1880s mens 3 piece linen suit completed. I'm so glad I started in September as all those trims take sweet time. I can't wait to get to Bath for the ball! Fingers crossed for nice weather. #NaturalForm #VictorianBall #VictorianAttire #VictorianBallgown #HistoricalFashion
