I’m so happy I’ve found @mystackers ! 💕
I’ve struggled to find the perfect way to store and showcase my Dartmoor and Devon seascape fused glass pendants. Originally, I used organza bags with one of my business cards as support, all stored in a plastic box. While it worked for keeping them safe during storage and travel, after all the effort I put into creating these pendants—firing up to four layers of glass as many as five times—they deserve nothing but luxury! ✨✨✨
Yesterday, I debuted my new setup at @artsgreenhill Gallery, as they’re embarking on a fresh strategy for their gallery shop, and wow…it looked so professional! ✨ Now I’ll need to stock up on more as I replenish the collection.
The only challenge? Making sure each pendant’s unique name fits into the compartments—especially the ones where I got a bit carried away with naming! (Let’s be honest, I know all their names by heart anyway 🫢).
One very happy glass artist here! 😊✨

It’s been a while since I’ve done this… recoated kiln shelves, being surrounded by my glass, and honestly just feeling connected to this part of myself again 💕
I know I’ve been a little quieter on here lately too. As much as I want glass to stay my priority, my other profession has completely taken over the last three weeks — late nights, early starts, and sadly weekends too. I’ve felt like I’ve been falling behind on a lot of fronts lately 😔
But I finally have two weeks off to recover, reset, and hopefully get myself back on track before it all starts again in June… and then July.
For now, I’m just happy to be back making again ✨

This landscape is in the kiln 🔥and I have no idea how it’s going to turn out.
But today I learned that these beautiful purple tones are becoming harder to source… because they’re actually gold-bearing 💜
As gold prices rise, it has a knock-on effect for glassmakers. Who knew!
So I’m definitely appreciating this piece a little more — especially the foreground, where I’ve mixed every colour with gold purple ✨💜✨💜✨

So many visitors at the @delamoreart launch were curious about my process — which I loved.
What I didn’t expect was how many wanted to look at this latest batch through my viewfinder (the one I use to mark where to cut).
The best part? They had just as much delight as I do in that moment.
Safe to say… the viewfinder is coming to all future events ✨

Sometimes the ideas that feel a bit chaotic at the start… are the ones that stick 😅
When working on larger landscapes, I mix a lot of colours — but stopping to make each one individually really breaks the flow.
So I tried something different… using a palette to have all my colours in one place, ready to go!
Unfired powders don’t reflect their final colour, so writing on the palette what they were made it much easier.
And surprisingly… it worked. I felt much more in a creative flow — far more enjoyable than constantly stopping to think, what colour do I need to mix next?
This might become a permanent part of my process ✨
