Broadway Debut 11.19.2024 🧞♂️
Too grateful for words, but I’ll try.
Last night my dream came true. Surrounded by family and friends from far and wide I took a bow on a Broadway stage. I laughed, I cried, I danced and sang. I was on a cloud, or maybe a magic carpet ✨
To name all of the people who got me here would be an exercise in futility, but to name a few…
Jo, my first scene partner, who put up with having me as a big brother, I love you. This stage is a bit bigger than our living room, eh?
Aba, I’m sorry I didn’t grow up to be a linebacker. Thanks for loving me no matter what I wanted to do, and for showing me exactly what I will look and sound like in a couple decades 😅
Jon and Karen, to have step parents who love me as much as you do is a blessing. I’m so lucky to have you as bonus mom and dad.
Mom… what can I even say? You threw me onstage when I was four years old and I never looked back. You showed me it was possible to chase this dream while living a real life, supporting a real family. You are the reason I do any of this. We did it 😊
And finally, Dwayne. I miss you every day. I think you’d be proud of me. Hope you had a good seat up there ♥️
Nothing left to do but play onstage 8 shows a week. Thank you to this incredible @Aladdin family for welcoming me with open arms.
