Inspired by the legacy of Japan’s ronin – masterless samurai who lived by their own code – this performance combines dance, swordplay, and cutting-edge digital projections to tell the story of an unlikely hero navigating honour, resilience and survival in a male-dominated world.
Through a captivating blend of movement and technology, RONiN takes audiences through Japan’s four seasons, from spring’s cherry blossoms to winter’s silent snowfall, creating an anime-inspired realm that merges ancient traditions with modern visual storytelling.

Jim and I recapping some aikido katana techniques. Jim's been working on his screen combat and I've been practicing my martial arts weapons so we've teamed up! Definitely more to come!

As soon as we came out of the waterfall @cl_coeudevez gave us headshots. Just a moment to tussle my hair with a towel, brush vineyard branches aside, and the camera went click. My clothes and body were still soaked through and dripping. The swiss summer air was hot. The water was cool. I was happy as can be! I think it looks surprisingly tidy given the chaos and mess moments before. It's maybe the only headshot I've done so far which has a genuine smile and I'm not just smiling for the camera! It seems I am at my happiest dancing in the beautiful force and chaos of nature... But no surprises there!
Definitely my first choice of headshot photograph for the foreseeable future!
