Every once in a while I feel just as proud to light as I do to shoot. Projects like this one are a testament to that. Nathan and I spent a lot of time getting this one right. We’re always talking about ways to make our next project better than the last, and I feel like we’ve done it here. I couldn’t be more stoked to get another one in the books together.
I’m so proud of everybody who lent a hand in this project, you guys gave it your all and this wouldn’t be possible without you. Love you guys.

This photo will always be kept very close to my heart. It’s a memory of a simpler time in my life: kids running around, skating, and making things because we could. It was a time before creative decks and call sheets, just a few best friends with ideas.
I remember skating at Ant’s halfpipe as all of us boys used to every night. Those days were always the best. Never any plans, just messing around with anything we could get our hands on. After a few stolen beers from his parents’ fridge, he and I were talking and randomly he pitches this idea to burn his beanie on his head. Yes, while he’s wearing it too. To my reply I said what any real friend should say in that situation: Hell yes, that would be fucking awesome. We had a lot of dumb ideas back then. I miss that.
Seeing this print hung up on the wall felt an ode to those days. A reminder of all those memories with the boys. The picture itself will always be secondary to me, it’s the memory that’s permanently engrained to my heart. A good photo doesn’t always need to be perfect or planned, it just needs a voice. And boy was ours loud back then.
And to Ant, love you buddy. Cheers to all the memories.
