Nobody’s doing it like @sarahsquirm . We’re forever grateful for everyone involved in uplifting practical animation and artistry and this couldn’t have happened without Sarah’s vision. Love when artists choose to use a real set piece over AI or compositing! It was so fun to figure this out. Built and piped this cake with @sydflint , and I hand cut the scalloped cake board. Thanks @rosebudbaker and @withreservation for bringing us on this project. Can’t wait to see it on the shelves!

Getting to create the opening sequence and body horror intro to @sarahsquirm 's breathtaking vision for a comedy special with @madds.mov and @jaclene_ has been a huge honor to say the least. To be among legendary stop motion animators @richzimanimation and @strata_cut whose work is also featured throughout the special is unreal! This is a monumental day for cult film freaks and experimental stop motion animators. I am filled with joy and covered in slime 💦✨ Thank you Sarah for trusting me to bring your script to life, for elevating and showcasing the magic of hand-made VFX, and for raising the bar with your brilliantly unhinged and disorientingly beautiful universe. Project 2025!!!!

Dirty Durham with my lil bro and loml @tesstimonium - replaced the porch ceiling and painted it haint blue to keep the ghoulies away, now neither of us can get back inside 😈 Day 1: - Demo'd the old crusty roof and found some baby birds living inside a light fixture (they're okay....I think) - Cut new ceiling panels and jigsawed out areas for columns and lighting hookup - Ripped out the old door frame (replacing that later) - Nailed up new panels Day 2: - Added in the last pieces of beadboard to close up the ceiling - Put up new moulding - Caulked all the gaps - Filled all the nail holes Day 3 (In 2 HRS) : - Painted!!! 2 coats!!! Looking through clips lately to update my reel and rediscovered this 35mm exercise that I did in grad school. I love it so much! Some things really are meant for film! I couldn’t have done it without directed by: @jaclene_ ac: @walterrivera_ gaffer: @hjcine It’s inspired by gang-sploitation film Teenage Gang Debs (1966) set in Brooklyn, NY. Featuring one of the many great songs on that soundtrack “Don’t Make Me Mad” by Lee Howell.
