For the first time, I’m doing a print sale from my Kiryas Joel project. I’ve always been a little reluctant to do so, but I’m grateful for the renewed interest and finally decided to put a small release together.
I’ve made three of the most requested images available as 8x10 prints on 11x14 paper. Each print is signed and numbered in an edition of 50.
Prints are $150, with shipping included.
Link in bio. No international shipping at this time.
If you’re interested in a larger print or a different image, please email or DM me.
Last night @jacksonkrule returned to the Hassidic community of Kiryas Joel, capturing the annual Lag BaOmer bonfire celebrations.
Krule has spent years documenting ultra-orthodox Jewish life in moments of profound intimacy and spectacle. His scenes are chaotic and beautiful: a glance, a gesture, a crowd suspended in motion.
In this year’s images we see boys pressed against barricades, eyes wide, faces lit in orange and gold. Men are swaying in song, and their families are watching from the margins.
Catching up on some 2024 shoots: in July on one of the hottest and most humid days in Tampa, I spent an afternoon with 25 NHL mascots at their annual summer get together. You might have some questions, tbh I don’t have a ton of answers. Mascots are a very secretive bunch x @playerstribune
