I started recording this track in July of 2025 with its first full version sparking in March of that year. A friend of mine inspired me to write this and after finishing its first version I experienced something “similar”. That night while sitting at my piano I stared blank at my wall for a good 30 minutes. In the moments after, the main vocal melody was constructed out of raw feeling and mixed emotions. The one you’re hearing now :)
It’s a bittersweet track, its meaning will only be noticed later in one’s life after leaving a relationship that can no longer go on.
I’m proud to say it’ll be out in 2 weeks, it’s quite surreal. A feeling I can’t explain. I hope to inspire like the many greats I look up to on a daily basis.
