Jackson Hole Snow Devils

The Jackson Hole Snow Devils and the hill climb community is rallying behind one of our own — Blaine Mathews. On April 18th, Blaine was seriously injured while racing motorcycles in Riverton and airlifted to Casper for treatment. Recovery is going to take time, and he will be out of work while he heals. His partner Piper and his family have been by his side through it all. Blaine is one of the top Ski-Doo hill climb racers in the sport and an all-around great guy. Like many racers, he now faces a long road of hospital bills, physical therapy, and recovery expenses. World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb – Social Media Statement Important Announcement Due to insufficient snow and current snow conditions, the 2026 World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb in Jackson, Wyoming has been canceled. This was an incredibly difficult decision. Our team worked hard to explore every possible option to make the event happen, including alternate routes on the mountain. Despite our best efforts, the snow conditions simply do not allow us to host a safe and high-quality race this year. We share in the disappointment this brings and want our racers and fans to know that we are actively working on ways to help ensure the long-term future of the World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb and reduce the likelihood of cancellations moving forward. We are deeply grateful to Snow King Mountain Resort for being an outstanding partner and host for the past 48 years, and we truly appreciate their continued support of our event and our organization. Thank you to our racers, fans, sponsors, volunteers, and partners for your understanding and continued support. Public, racers, racer pit help, families, and spectators 👇 For the 49th Annual World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb, the Jackson Hole Snow Devils Food Tent will be restricted to working Snow Devil members only. 🔒 Snow Devils Food Tent • Will be fenced off • Not available to the public, racers, pit crews, or families • Policy is in effect for the entire event 👉 This change is being made due to abuse in past years, and because we also do not want to compete with the vendors who support us in the infield. Our goal is to properly take care of working volunteers while encouraging everyone to support those vendors. 🍔 Food Options for Everyone Else Please plan to feed your group by: • Using the infield food vendors • Bringing your own meals and snacks ⭐ VIP MEALS • VIP meals will be available at the VIP Food Tent ONLY • Saturday & Sunday • 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM • VIP access required We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and understanding as we continue to put on a world-class event while taking care of the volunteers who make it all happen. ❄️💪
