Soho Farmhouse celebrates its 10th birthday this month. I’m proud of my involvement on this iconic project whilst at Soho… @sohohouse@condenasttraveller
In 2016/17 40 Greek Street went through a major redesign & expansion including the acquisition of Kettner’s on Romilly Street. As Architectural Director Alex oversaw the replanning of the club & Kettner’s Restaurant & Hotel.
Greek Street is the original Soho House and full of beloved spaces & features like the circle bar & warren like interior. Kettner’s had a colourful history with Oscar Wilde as a regular. The expansion included infilling the central courtyard with a new 4 story structure and rethinking every corner of the building making sure to preserve and build on the character of the beloved club.

During Alex’s time as Architectural Director at Soho House, he oversaw the interior architecture of Soho House Amsterdam. Housed in The Bungehuis, a 1930s Art Deco building on the edge of the Singel canal, it was originally built as the headquarters of a trading company.
The club combines original interior features alongside works by cutting-edge Dutch designers and artists. There is a Cecconi’s restaurant on the ground floor, 70 bedrooms and a club with a pool on the top two floors.

We are delighted to be working on the design for Tredrea Inn, a pub, restaurant and garden with rooms that enjoy views of the North Cornwall Coastline.

We have been working with the team at Parnham Park to develop their vision of bringing unique hospitality to this breath-taking estate.
Our masterplan included buildings throughout the grounds and most recently Dorset Council granted planning for this boathouse with a sculptural steel roof.
