Sometimes I feel like I’m falling behind - then I remind myself that I’m usually the youngest person in the room.
This was one of 5 videos from the AHIA Creative Awards Gala Night, when I was a finalist for 2 categories. This was the moment that I realised I didn’t win a single thing I had been nominated for, even after 5 possible chances.
I was gutted.
Having @lady_wolfe there with me reminded me that I should be proud of what I’d done, regardless of the outcome. Choose your people, and they’ll choose you too.
After the event concluded, I only felt pure joy and happiness for those who won. I was a finalist in my first awards season, that was an achievement in itself. I have years ahead of me, and I’ll have plenty more chances to try again.
That was enough for me.
I am enough, and so are you.

LATELY | IN RED
I’ve been seeing red everywhere I look. It’s something that’s been standing out to me quite a bit.
I think red is a contradicting colour. It represents love and anger, chaos and passion.
The past month has come with a lot of change, physically, professionally and mentally. I can’t think of a better colour to express how life has felt lately.

March was the gift that kept on giving.
Two @mochahairmedia AHIA Creative collections shot, @goldwellanz Celebration of Colour and riding @lime bikes in Sydney at 2AM with one of my favourite humans.
In two weeks we fly back to Sydney for the @aushairfashionawards , what an honour to be a finalist for two award categories myself.
I’m glad I can give glimpses into the fun things, and I’m grateful to be giving myself enough time to experience them. I can’t wait to explore what new horizons come in April.

Last week I had the satisfaction of putting together one of my two @mochahairmedia AHIA Creative collections, all by myself.
This was my first time shooting a full collection on my own, and my very first Men’s Collection too!
