💕Hello, here’s another clip from my new project ‘refreshments’ that I made during my time in Bangkok. I was invited by @neoshibuyatv to premiere the project on some big outdoor screens in Tokyo, which I’ve included at the end of this video ^ ✨
All of the places and objects in the film were 3D scanned by me in Thailand and all of the renders are directly from the viewport in C4D. It’s so fun to work in a way that’s so instant and in direct response to my surroundings. What I’ve shared so far is the first iteration of the project, I’m planning to get much further into it this year and see how I can include more of my studio practice 💡
I’d be interested to hear from anybody else doing low tech photogrammetry like this !

Beep beep 🍌 I’ve realised that I keep making these cars, each time I come back to my studio after a break, normally at the start of a new year. It’s nice to make something familiar and dumb and fun.
I sculpt them in VR so double fun, there’s videos of that at the end 💿💿

A new chapter in this ongoing exploration - I’m now able to create these clips in real time in response to music using an Xbox controller 😮💨
I’ve recently started working with the very talented Tom Redburn @imkamicafe to collaborate on some new iterations of this project based his music, really buzzing to push this forward
Refreshments is an ongoing project based around 3D scans I’ve collected in various countries, mashed together into some kind of video sketchbook, all of it rendered directly from the viewport so it’s super immediate and fun, now with the python rig that I made ( with Claude ) it’s even more direct. I’m making the script available to anybody, DM me for the link 💟💟💟
