Probably final Greek geek week post unless I do a misc one after this: What's the connection, non-vegan headwear, cocktail with a wethers original on top, Gabriel contemplates the wall, chocolate orange pancakes, swimming in St Paul's Bay (one of the most beautiful places I've ever swam), selfie with the cleaner who seemed delighted by our rudimentary Greek, one final chill by the pool, gyros on the runway.

The 2026 Greek Geek Week Quiz Running World* Championship
A written quiz determines your staggered start time. You then run the route, along the way facing 3 checkpoints where you either have to give 5 out of 10 correct answers to a list question (such as naming the 10 most populous US states), or do a penalty run. I managed to shave almost 12 minutes off my time from last year, thanks to a combination of being fitter, giving more correct answers and not getting lost twice.
Celtic nations 2026! Wales came last... and it was noooot close... lol. But I had a great time and got to hang out with loads of people I haven't seen for ages and meet lots of new lovely ones too! And pay my respects at the Ianto shrine for one last time. Congrats to Team Ireland, and hopefully see you next year for the big fightback!
