🏁 October Speedweekend at Skegness Raceway - stadium 🏁
We had a great weekend down at Skegness Stadium for the October Speedweekend — a solid couple of days of racing, good pace in all conditions, and no major damage to the car.
Friday – Testing
Friday’s test session was run in pouring rain, giving us valuable experience in the wet and helping us understand how the car would handle if the weather stayed that way.
Saturday
In Heat 2, he had a strong drive to finish 5th, showing good pace early on.
We went out in the final and made a great start, getting up to the front before being pushed wide into a parked car. We managed to get the car fired back up and completed some valuable laps to finish the race, just outside the top 12.
The Grand National was a tough race in difficult conditions as the rain started pouring just before the start. Despite that, we raced well and brought the car home in 11th after a hard-fought run.
Sunday
No work was needed on the car overnight — a great sign of how well it’s running. We went out in Heat 1 and battled hard throughout, finishing 5th after some close racing.
In the final, we were pushed wide at the start and lost ground, which made it tricky to get back on the racing line. Once we settled back in, we found some strong pace and put in good laps, finishing just outside the top 12.
Overall
A really positive weekend with strong results, consistent pace, and a reliable car in all conditions. Big thanks to Harrison Supplies Ltd and the team for their hard work and support, and to Skegness Stadium for another brilliant weekend of racing!

Decent weekend down at Skegness Raceway - stadium in the new car and first time out this year.
Started Saturday off by getting some seat time in practice, making sure everything was comfortable and ready to go for the meeting.
We were in heat 2 and had good start from the back of the yellows, making our way up the grid to 3rd and battling well until we had a big impact into the turn 3 & 4 fence. Damage from this meant we wouldn’t make it out in time for the consolation but Harrison Supplies Ltd worked hard to get the car fixed and ready for the grand national where we found some really good pace in the car, bringing it home for 3rd place!
Sunday was a little more challenging, with mixed track conditions and a few teething problems. Heat 1 we struggled to get the car to turn but later found out we had a slow rear puncture. We then went out in heat 3 and we got a good start again from the back of the yellows and making up places to finish 4th.
UK Open was again challenging, we had problems getting the car to start on the restarts and struggling to get the car turn but raced hard and finished 13th.
All in all a good first weekend out in the new car with a lot of positives to take from it and take into our next meeting at Hednesford for the British 🏁.
