by some insane stroke of luck i did indeed make it through this year!
i might be down one working finger and my ma might be down 6 working discs but we still made it through 💪💪
biggest shoutout to the gorgeous people i got to spend the year with :) bigger shoutout to that one guy i think he's on construction or something and is a genuinely lovely sound person and a hell of a good flys operator or whatever
here's to nobody i know going through any horrific accidents this year. no more a&e trips for jack PLEASEEEEEEESSS

shock of all shocks i absolutely loved the past two weeks and getting to meet all the incredible folks involved this year (almost 100 creatives total!) it's always a joy to be back under the arches, and more of a joy to randomly jumpscare people hiding in the shadows
i owe @53two and all the brilliant people involved it soso much for helping fully inspire me to go down the path i am and for giving me endless encouragement and assistance. it is still crazy to me that my whole journey started because of one email and a super enthusiastic welcome <3
it genuinely does feel really special seeing so many unique stories told onstage - many of which i personally really related to. i'm just glad i can't vote because i think i'd have self destructed trying to choose - and i hope every single one still finds a way to continue on (and knows they have an sm ready and excited to join in!!!!)

hey guys. i love my ma. continuing the sap train by telling you guys about my ma!!!!!! my biggest fan from day one <3 i honestly couldnt have predicted the insane support she gives to my work, she'll be sat beside the parent of a lead in whatever show im doing bragging about how her son is working the curtain or pre setting for the second act. it means the world to have someone so close to me appreciate and recognise what i do! my ma has always been my biggest supporter, and i dont think i would be where i am without her love and support. i think at this point every theatre ive worked with knows her because she's so dedicated to coming to practically every show i do, and it's always such a joy to come out after a long 2 hours of lugging set around to see her. if you're looking for the most supportive woman in manchester give me a call, i'm related to her.
to my biggest fan, my closest friend. i wouldn't be here without you. i love you more than i could fit into an instagram post. i owe this all to you. i'll get you drinks on my staff discounts for life. or for as long as i can handle being around people. either or.

i am so aggressively far from a sappy person but since offcuts is coming to an end im breaking that to be an absolute sap fest! offcuts is the very last show i'm working on in manchester before leaving for lipa and as chaotic as it's been, i'm so glad i got to do this with the wonderful folks at @53two .
i wasn't in the best position hopping into bear left, feeling like i had nowhere to go, no future, to just get dragged into this brilliant community of some of the loveliest people i've ever had the pleasure of meeting.
working at 53two was what pushed me to believe i could actually make something of myself, that i had genuine potential, and i've not been able to stay away since! i'm so thankful that i was even taken on in the first place. this theatre means the absolute world to me. it's taken me my whole life to feel like im part of something, and i couldn't have wished for a better community. love you nerds.
