Every mile was a reminder.. this was never just me.
First and foremost I give all the glory to God for another day and opportunity to live out this incredible life!
However, this 3:19:34 PR in London would not have been possible without the training plan I used from @endorphinsrunning code: JACKN for 2 weeks free.
What an incredible experience. London came through with amazing energy, lovely people, and most unexpected, HOT weather.
This was THE toughest run I have ever done. I was almost late to the start, rolled my ankle at mile 7 trying to hype the crowd up too much (lol), and the heat got to me… cramped the last 10k of the race.
But I was carried by the Lord, the city of London, and an unwavering belief in myself! Resilience, perseverance, and grit.
The marathon is a true testament to one’s grit and in my opinion is a direct reflection of how one lives their life.
Marathon #2 âś…
Thank you London!
“It’s not about you.”
I have that written on a whiteboard in my room — it’s been up there for over a year now. I don’t remember where it came from, but it’s shaped who I am more than almost anything else.
At the NYC Marathon, that phrase hit different. It was impossible not to feel small in the best way — surrounded by thousands of people running for something bigger than themselves. I heard stories of loss, resilience, love, and redemption. Every runner had a “why.”
I’m beyond grateful to have experienced something so real and raw. I gave New York everything I had, and the city gave it all right back.
To run my first marathon here is something I’ll never forget. Thank you God for using me as a vessel to spread Your love.
So… same time next year?
That wraps up my chapter in Boston✌🏼!! Many thanks to God for blessing me with so many great people and experiences🙏🏼 Ready to take on a new adventure in ATL… LIFE IS GOOD!!!
