We traveled to Bali in Summer 2024, where we recorded the album and played two shows. It was a life-changing experience in many ways; the heartwarming cultural exchange, a paradisiacal beauty in both nature and architecture, and the fact that I exploded my collarbone a few days before flying home. Countless extreme highs and one extreme low. Deeply excited to return for another tour in June (this time without injury). ---

Additionally, this entire project would not have been possible without Alit and Aya's endless hospitality and logistical expertise.
Retiring my PC after 12 years. The connection that I had with this thing was nearly as profound as my connection with bass guitar. Had absolutely no idea what I was doing but managed to keep modding it and keep it running for over a decade. Dropped it down a flight of stairs while moving apartments in 2020 and it exploded into 100 pieces when it hit the sidewalk. Still managed to duct tape it together and get it running again. Beautiful machine for music production and video games alike. Eternal gratitude to one of my oldest friends @spacebrojakob for his advising and assistance (picking out the parts and building it by himself while I watched).
