I love walking before sunrise, after sunset, or in the fog. My edges visually blur or fade completely. The Silent Walks share this experience with whoever wants to come. These little sketches suggest the vibe.

Makes such a difference to stand before these drawings and paintings (and video and painted car) and see the marks, pull of paint, sketches. They are technically and emotionally supercharged. So happy we made the trek before it closed.

Wonderful visit to the @dorskymuseum to see the Hudson River Artists 2025 exhibit. Here are a few selections with artists tagged and their info and @altabuden and Craig Monteith, the guest curators’ statement. Go!
Making several small paintings lately. Attracted to a sense of permeability, dissolving. This one is of Aleck Meadow Reservoir at @blackrockforest . I prefer hiking in almost any weather but bright sunshine. Wet woods are my favorite.
Inspired by Lucas Arruda’s beautiful, subtle work.
