‘Filmed in the transition of moving from Canberra ACT to Melbourne Victoria - and what a ride that was. 262-ish days of lockdown in Melbourne, a fractured foot and ribs, torn ankle ligaments and still a bunch of awesome times sprinkled throughout. Throwing away the Canberra map and finding new spots down in Melbourne was an awesome experience, making this project full of new challenges. Time slips away indeed however wrapping this up feels as good as any other part I’ve filmed, even if its 3 years late. Meet Powei - Taiwanese Punk Legend ⛓️💥 Through recommendations we found ourselves walking the streets of Taipei, headed for Liberated Rhythms Records. Walk up the stairs and ring the bell, Powei greeted us. Wall to wall with punk gear - screen prints - records and nicknacks. Powei showed us his first punk shirt from the Damned, some Taiwanese vintage items then was kind enough to show us his screen printing set up including Black Flag, Vivienne Westwood, Sabbath panels. We left with some badges, shirts and a cassette from his band L-Schema.

Shit knows probably all 3, but I got asked a few times how I got a top view on some of the @frenzee.band images from the @thetotehotel last week.. well I climbed the front far and trekked up and down leaning on the roof and dodging the ceiling fans to get some shots.

Immortalised another print at @lulietavern 🤘this time it’s @grimrhythmband from their ICONIC rooftop show last year. If there was a roof at that show, it would have gotten blown right off by pure and true Rock n’ Roll
Had a ripper time cruising in a van with the GOAT Merv Hughes for a couple of days shooting for @victoriabitter ‘Laws of Cricket’ campaign.
BTS images from a press day as Merv taught the @barmyarmytravel a lesson or two (not bad blokes - must be hard supporting a team like England I suppose), meet and greet at @liquorlandau and on location shoot for the reveal of the new cans.
Ol’ Swervin’ Mervyn was one of the greats and I had a pleasure picking his brain about old school touring days, cricket and anything else we dribbled about. Till next time.
