A couple of months ago, I submitted this painting for the Arkansas Turkey Stamp competition. Dad and I built the frame, and I drove it over to a gallery in Cane Hill, Arkansas with a heart full of hope. And then I didn’t even place in the top three.
I think that’s great, though, because these turkeys are back where they belong on the proper side of the border. They’re Oklahoma turkeys now, like all good turkeys should be. You can see them at Headquarters at 3003 Paseo.
Custom Jordans for the principal of Selden Middle School in Long Island, NY.
A few weeks ago, a kid was in the bathroom at Selden and some jerk in the stall next to him peed all over his shoes. The principal took his own shoes off and gave them to the kid to wear the rest of the day. The staff was so moved by this gesture that they pooled their money and commissioned me to make the principal a pair of customs. I don’t know how they found me in Long Island, but find me they did.
Go Wolverines!
