The best hotel owners, managers, tour guides, cruise line executives and top advisors converged in Rio to push limits and rethink the way we work with clients.
To put those skills to the test, we recreated a Mission Impossible experience through the city. A game show at the Museum of Tomorrow. A client carnival inside the warehouse where Rio’s carnival floats are made. Every stop challenged advisors and partners to dive deeper, look behind the ask, get more personal and become true tastemakers in their clients’ lives.
It all ended atop Sugarloaf, making real commitments to reinvent the way we work before AI agents take our clients away.

MAKING PEOPLE FEEL SPECIAL.... is a mindset not a business decision.
One of the most special days at Embark's history was inspired in memory of Embark's @janelcarnerotravel "s son Chris who tragically passed away at 12yrs.
At this past Embark Immersion we knew we could not impact change in a Rio community in one day so we thought why not give these kids something they never had... from a BBQ to a Carnival with prizes. beauty, crafts and sports with FIFA star @adrianoimperador and all of our Embark and hotel participants from around the world making it happen.

MAKING SPECIAL HAPPEN..is a cornerstone of our approach to making our clients feel special wherever they go in the world.
So we tasked our Embark advisors to pair up with some of our best partners with hotels, tours, and cruise lines from around the world to create a Carnival style float representing what they would do for a hypothetical client, Larry and Paula Ancona, celebrating their anniversary in Rio, despite their friends all getting stuck home in a snowstorm.
The reuslt? Remarkable creativity, teamwork and customer love. From recreating their wedding atop sugarloaf with their friends on Zoom to custom made songs and playlists, custom jackets, hand made sweets representing their lives, hand drawn pictures and so much more.

Earlier this week, our advisors teamed up with partners from around the world and were given one unique challenge: Make Special Happen.
Requiring lots of creativity and collaboration, each team had to completely turn around a disaster into an emotionally uplifting experience.

For our last day of Immersion, we had to go out with a bang - Mission Impossible Day!
We split into teams to find a hidden capsule somewhere in Rio, moving through the city with one focus: really knowing your client.
From carnival games at the Samba Warehouse Rio to a live game show at the @museudoamanha , to commitments made at the top of Sugarloaf Mountain, every stop had a purpose.
We closed out the week with a full carnaval celebration with all of the partners and advisors who made Immersion what it was.
Rio, you were incredible. Thank you for having us!

A look at what’s next for marketing, how Embark Beyond is redefining partnerships, and a first look at the newly launched Blackbook. Then Tina Edmundson of Marriott International, Philippe Camperio of Haeres Capital, Dezaray Romanelli of Rimowa, Barbara Muckermann of Kempinski Hotels, and Alejandra Rositto of Bottega Veneta joined our panel for one conversation that never gets old: truly knowing your client.
We then took it to the beach to #MakeSpecialHappen by hosting over 70 children from the local favela community for a full day of joy, in memory of our very own Chris Carnero @janelcarnerotravel 💚
Our night started at @selipanema beach club, thanks to @sofitel and @visitmonaco . And we closed it out in pajamas, singing karaoke with our friends at @frette .

The first official day of Immersion is one for the books!
Our advisors kicked off the morning with excursions across Rio, from parasailing to helicopter rides.
@jackezon opened our first general session with the Connection Economy and why advisors who build real relationships will always stay ahead. @cindy_novotny , Annie Fitzsimmons, and travel legend @petergreenberg followed with a conversation on AI as a tool, not a replacement. They touched on media, what’s real vs. fake, and why staying informed matters more than ever.
We wrapped with focus groups and the Emotional Impact Challenge, then closed the night with a dinner by @paris_society at @fairmontrio . It was truly iconic.
