Well here we are dolls! I’m officially stepping way out to try something new ... and I’m so excited to finally share why! 🎧 I’ve officially joined the world’s largest DJ competition - @yourshotau ! Everyone who entered starts with zero knowledge. Over the next 2 months we all learn a brand-new skill from scratch, and it all leads up to a massive Battle Royale-style set at HOME Nightclub, Darling Harbour. To be honest, I’m super nervous. This is way out of my comfort zone, and the stakes are high! The organisers assign the best stages and time slots to the DJs who sell the most tickets. As you know, I don’t have any family in this country, so I’m leaning on community for support. One of the most beautiful experiences of my life. This cast, this show, this moment in time. I will cherish it forever. VICE was more than a show for me, it was confirmation, it was learning, it was a masterclass that money can’t buy. The fact that we weren’t allowed to take photos of the show made these backstage shots that more special. The energy of the cast was something I can not describe, we truely were a team and had each others backs through it all the fun.
