It was so special for @reginaspektor and I to return to our Alma mater @purchasecollege (where we met!) and play the fundraiser for @artswestchester . It’s a must.
We need to ensure the safety and recognize the humanity of innocent people on both sides. They are not their governments and don’t deserve to be treated as military combatants. We cannot allow innocent children to continue to die this way. We also have to make sure that the murderous terrorist organization Hamas is destroyed. I have no idea how to accomplish both of these tasks but we must not dehumanize each other in what should be our common fight against extremism. I am sending my love and prayers to everyone affected by this violence, Israeli and Palestinian alike. There must be a peaceful path forward but it cannot be achieved as long as Hamas is in power.
