Man where do I start with this.
The 24 Hour Broadcast was everything and more to me this year and it made me so proud as a TV Manager to see everyone on the crew give up so much of their time for free to help create such a special event. I’m sad but so proud to pass it on to the lads below me and I have no doubt it will be bigger and better than ever.
From Tech to Sets & Props, PR to Sponsorship, Ads & Stings, Stage Crew and Runners. We all had massive production to run that we have never done before to this size. You all worked tirelessly through the night and knocked it straight out of the park. All of you should be so proud of what we achieved.
To our four fantastic presenters thank you for having the patience to deal with my stress leading up to this. All of you showed your natural skill and ability on the night and represented yourselves in the best light.
A massive thank you also has to go to my fellow TV Manager Conor for keeping this whole operation on the road every time I panicked and thought it was all in the mud. He worked day and night beside me to prepare for this. He dealt with managing the broadcast and managing me.
We had our highs and lows on the night but it all came together when it mattered and we raised a ridiculous amount of money for @womens.aid .
