PNW has no shortage of filmmakers/actors. We just don’t have a good way to find each other on IG.
Cascade is here for that.
Actors → @cascadeactors
Crew → @cascadecrewnw
Drop your casting or crew call as an image. It posts as a story.
It’s small right now, but only because it’s new. Those who use it first are the ones who shape it.
Share it. Tag a filmmaker. Let’s grow it:)

This Friday night, September 19th at @ptfilmfest join Producer @seanpatrickburkefilms and Director @jackchakerian for a special panel where they’ll be discussing what it means to bring this feature-length production of THE ABSENCE OF VIOLET to Port Townsend — the inspirations, opportunities, and what this place brings to the story.
We’ll be talking about what it means to shape a story through the lens of the Pacific Northwest — how the landscapes, community, and creative energy here shape not only this film, but filmmaking in Washington.
Last month to join the team shooting a movie in Washington State.
Whether you’re in WA or not, you can still connect with the filmmakers and even come visit set.
In a world drowning in sequels and reboots, we’re building something special:
An original experience you can feel.
Surreal, cinematic, and rooted in longing, mystery, and wonder: The Absence of Violet.
With a crew from Washington to Hollywood to Spain joining up in the PNW, backed by a global wave of 80+ supporters who’ve helped us raise over $315K (inside + outside wefunder) — we’re all fired up to make this.
Share this if you believe indie film deserves a new era.
Let’s build it together. (link in bio)
To stop training this mind to commoditize my own experiences, stopped 1-sec-a-day…. but… still filmed at times. Here’s a structureless cut of 2024. Because until we reach the magical point where we can live blissfully in each moment forever, memories are actually worth a lot
Happy new year
