Two years ago, I started Lemon as a side project—part outlet, part distraction—during a chaotic moment in my life. Idle hands, devil’s workshop, etc. What started as a side project quietly took over my life.
At its core, Lemon was built on a few simple beliefs:
That brands matter to people.
That art and commerce can live together—without compromise.
That advertising can be emotional, beautiful, even moving.
And that the community behind the work matters just as much as the work itself.
We’re launching with a cookbook because it felt like the clearest way to show you who we are. Forty creative minds, one ingredient, one book. A snapshot of our vision: bringing inspiring people together and serving as a catalyst for creativity. Recipes felt right—they’re personal, practical, a little revealing. They say a lot with a little.
There are far too many people to thank, and this project was a true labor of love. To our generous guests, our endlessly gracious photographers, our guiding light of an art director Nicole, and everyone who made intros, edited drafts, and kept us afloat with moral support—thank you.
To Morgan, my very patient partner, and to Lemon’s founding team—Pia, Dino, Linda, and Kartik—this wouldn’t exist without you. You’ve gone above and beyond to bring this project to life and get these books into people’s hands.
Lemon is now live. There’s more to come—and we’re just getting started.
If you’ve made it this far, the best way to support us is simple:
Follow Lemon. Share the work. Post your cookbooks. Tell your friends.
We need your help, and we can’t do it alone.
