“Hands” an experimental short film shot on 16mm
This piece was filmed 8 years ago! With the incredible @idioticallyabsurd . Recently re-discovered this piece in my video vault and decided to give it a little re-edit. Loved the tone of this one.
This is me, Jack Thomas, sitting in my spot at pool studio. For how often I’m around cameras in my daily life, I do a poor job of capturing myself in the moment. One of my goals this year is to improve my ability to document myself throughout this crazy journey of life.
I never thought I would have a studio. One day, 3 years ago, Jimmy and Axel invited me to film with them. They said I could come back anytime to work.
So I kept coming back. Not sure why, but I was having a great time and making pieces I was proud of. I will always remember the day I was asked to join the studio.
Nothing fancy, just an envelope with a key in it that read
“we need your let’s go energy”
Looking back at it all, I am forever grateful to be here. Chasing dreams,
making exciting videos,
crying over terrible films,
hitting big wins,
but most importantly - doing what I love,
with the people who love me. Cheers to everything ahead.
