After years of work, countless revisions, and more late-night writing sessions than I can count, holding the finished copies of Dying Roses in my hands feels surreal. (Even if my dog still seems to have a few pointers... 🐶) Seeing the physical book come to life, especially with the stunning cover art by @jack_hillside is the moment that kept me motivated through the finish line. It still doesn't quite feel like it's actually happening. For those discovering my work for the first time, Dying Roses is my debut novel and an Epic Fantasy. Bringing this world to life has been a massive and rewarding undertaking. A behind-the-scenes confession. After my proofreader finished his work, I thought I was making only a few tiny and insignificant adjustments. It turns out those little changes introduced some very not-insignificant mistakes. A few of you caught them early, and I learned quickly that no matter how small the edits are, you should always get another proofread. Your eyes stop seeing your own errors after a while. Mine certainly did. Thankfully those known issues are now resolved. With that milestone behind me, I am thrilled to share that the audiobook is nearing completion. Voice actor @felix.fictus and @jayramirez.va who handled narration and editing, have done extraordinary work. Hearing my story performed, after staring myself blind at the pages thousands of times, has been an entirely new and unexpectedly emotional experience. I will be releasing teaser clips from the audiobook soon. The full version will be published chapter by chapter on YouTube and it will also be available on Spotify. 2025 has been an incredibly rewarding year. I had the chance to work on so many exciting projects and collaborate with amazing authors, musicians, and artists.
