11/2/2025. The fall can produce some wild stuff to say the least. With slick conditions we made our way a few miles off the beach on my 19 foot whaler when we were greeted to a beautiful tuna feed. While the fish appeared to go down and disappear, this monster came in HOT on the lure and left a diabolically large boil next to the boat. The key was making long casts uptide, giving the moderate sink glider just enough time to settle naturally into the strike zone before starting the retrieve. Slow, methodical twitches letting the bait glide, stall, and hang in front of fish that were feeding mid water column.

Face of Shock……Another all nighter with my boy @tactical_bassin26 …Risking it for the biscuit in the dense fog far from home. They didn’t give it up easy but when they did they were BIG. Hunting, searching, and strategizing constantly… the @carrollcustomtackle glide was the ticket.

Throwing giant topwater at giant fish!
The @clobber_company surface freak gets it done again. This giant was layed up shallow when it inhaled the 11 inch freak off the surface like a Tic-tac.
It hasn’t been easy… sleepless nights, long days, but the moon finally gave up THE ONE…. Above everything else i’m happy she went home smooth! Quick revival, quick release….

Great to see this glide doing some work on the night shift. This glide has a near 50:50 joint split, letting it chop hard and stay tight instead of drifting wide, keeping it in the strike zone longer. Some nights you want that long sweeping glide, other nights a tight, aggressive chop like this is the ticket.
