The best way to start your Friday with a commute to nowhere (C2N)? Ride around the Bay, end at the Ferry building in SF, quick Sando and coffee with your riding buddy and then Ferry home to start your workday???
Great to ride with the C510 crew at the annual Bantum Road Ride/ Race. A great event. Finally getting into some kind of shape and glad we had some choice Cali weather after 2 weeks of cloudy days!

Happy 50th Birthday Skinner! 15 C510 boys joined to wish you a happy birthday and partake in a donut and 50+ Miles…except for me since we had brunch plans…did join for 34 fun miles.
C2N: One of my favorite rides that originated during the pandemic when we couldn’t go to an office…Commute to Nowhere…C2N. It has 2 bridges, stunning views of the bay and SF, delicious food options at the Ferry Building and a ferry ride home…where typically it’s us and maybe, just maybe another 1 or 2 people. Hightower kept saying “it’s so beautiful” as we rode along the Bay, across the bridge, up the climb and while siting eating our food. I would agree, the Bay Area is truly amazing and we are blessed to be here enjoying the moments with our friends while commuting to nowhere.
Day 4 & 5: Last days in Mexico City…a few pics for starters that are curious…bank deposits from armored trucks along with a couple of shotgun wielding guards, Bikes are thriving in MXCD along with dogs and dog walkers (thank you for picking up the poop too!), walk along Mazatlan walkway (wonderful!) to our favorite restaurant (Lardo: breakfast, lunch and dinner)…the disconnect between what I think a dish is what it is, is entertaining to myself…wonderful walk through the National Museum of Anthropology: amazing! Love how they have lots of outdoor spaces off of the display areas, would have loved if we had a guide here…next time. Saturday morning breakfast of champions for pau pau of Manudo soup and it’s presented with some Chicharrón. Loved that we were the only tourist here! That’s a wrap!
Our first night in Mexico City in the Condesa neighborhood. The food was good and the vibe around here is very cool. Also love the modern architecture from the 60s and now scattered around this area.
