Real dreams really DO come true!
I remember being in high school dreaming of working on music that would be certified gold and platinum and it feels SO surreal to watch my dreams become a reality. And, the fact that YES IT IS just went gold is another instance of God making them come true right before my eyes.
I couldn’t be more grateful for everybody I’ve gotten to work with and for over the years in the music industry and I don’t know what’s next lol, but I’m literally just enjoying the journey ☺️

Circa 2016…
During this period, I had dove headfirst into arranging vocals despite not knowing much about it other than taking everything I knew as an instrumentalist and singing it part by part. But, this particular arrangement is special to me because I arranged it only by ear, which challenged me to reference my vocabulary as a musician for as many chords as I could use in it.
And, it all started with hearing one of the music cues at the beginning of a scene, which I also referenced at the beginning of the arrangement 😉 (S/O to the musical genius that is Seth MacFarlane ☺️)

Here’s a blast from the past haha…
Back in 2016, I had gotten my very first call to arrange some BGVs for @lamontjhill . At the time, I was in college and I had only JUST gotten into arranging vocals, so I didn’t feel like I knew what I was doing lol, but I said “yes” anyway.
This is another example of how refined my vocal arrangements have become because I can’t pick out much of what I did here lolol, but I can still hear my intentions with the harmonies, voicings, etc. ☺️
