I Prefer You Flawed (2026) Last week I had the privilege of watching this short for the first time at the @britishfilminstitute as part of the curated evening “Forever Yung” hosted by @ethanljoseph @five__fold & @tagagencyuk - it was honestly a beautiful an inspiring night. There is so much talent in this city, in this world and honestly the next gen is gonna be special. Super proud to be a part of this short film written and directed by @itsnayansharma - a really powerful insight into the nuance and complications of young love. Keep an eye out for it on the festival circuit this year. Happy New Year. My new EP “Letting Go” is out independently and exclusively on my bandcamp. These are all stories from one of the most poignant and transformative periods of my life. I’m happy to collate them and share them with you as this project. Special thanks to @mbadenpowell for being my mix engineer and to @teneightsevenmastering for mastering the ep. We’ve been admiring @j_caesar_ from a far for sometime now, enjoying the development of his sensual and soulful productions. However his artistry goes beyond this and more recently we’ve been enjoying his poetry and DJ sets, with his residency on Foundation Fm taking us through his deep knowledge of house, soul and R&B. Sometimes I reminisce on memories of love

Tomorrow; my next single Daisy Chain Music will be released! This song, especially, means a lot to me as it was written about a time in my life that I’ll look back on to be one of the most important. This time last year in the midst of dealing with heart break I had a pretty serious health scare where at one point I genuinely thought my time could be up. In that moment, despite the immense sadness and loneliness, I was also overcome with an appreciation for the love I had experienced. I understood in that moment, that holding on to regret and pain wasn’t good for the body. I had to try and channel my grief. The name Daisy Chain Music comes from a metaphor about turning the chains that weigh us down into Daisy Chains. Our connections to people can be heavy, but they can also be beautiful if we choose to see them that way. I’m super excited to be able to share this with you tomorrow. It’s gonna be part of an EP that I’m releasing on New Years Eve called “Letting Go” - theme of the year. Artwork by @ainsleyricketts
