Changes and Transitions
Ive been soaking them in the last couple months
Fighting at first but landing into the ultimate inevitable surrender
No one prepares you for the curves of the road
The movement in your own path
Necessary movement
Why do we always imagine it in a narrow straight road?
Everything is temporary
We need different things in different times of our lives
That’s why they call life a ride
Buckle up, try to enjoy the moments you can
Some moments might get scary
Only for a moment
Then you learn to find the fun again
Some of the lightest brightest people carry the most darkness
“Remain open” they say
I believe in those words
But not at the cost of yourself
Move as you need to
For as long as you have to
At the pace that is yours
Life is a ride
The journey is yours and nobody elses
Now that I’m settling I’m getting the first moments to myself in months
The words are all flowing back
My feet are softly landing back on the ground
Sometimes it feels like a crash
And sometimes we have others that help the impact like pillows
Giving us hope in moments, like finding four leaf clovers
But sometimes some things are best left to bloom where they are
The best and hardest part is this
Life goes on
